Clubroom Float Contest

the scale model

he designed and built for the PTAH Royal Castaways at
RaMet's Clubroom Float Contest.
Chairman
T brought along the
Skipper (King Michael McConnell)
and PTAH Royal passengers to
happily win a very large FIRST PLACE TROPHY!
According to RaMet, this year's Float Contest had some of
the toughest competition of any year before and PTAH won
over all the other Krewes.

So What Exactly IS
The Grand Krewe of PTAH?
One of the twelve Grand
Krewes of Carnival Memphis, PTAH was founded in 1970 and
named in honor of Egypt's Creator god from the ancient
city of Memphis on the Nile.
Egyptian legend states
that everything is created by PTAH: gods are made,
cities ordained, ribs barbequed, and order maintained.
PTAH members party hard
but we also work hard in helping make the Memphis community a
better place (always striving to have a good time in
"partying with a purpose").
